Moorstack demo — terms in plain language

Last updated: 2026-05-27 · these terms govern access to the self-serve Moorstack platform demo at demo.moorstack.com.

1. What this demo is

A live, interactive copy of the Moorstack platform pre-loaded with synthetic Malaysian construction data. It is intended to give construction SMEs (CIDB G3–G7), consultants, and accountants a hands-on feel for how the platform organises jobs, claims, BIM, and project communications.

2. What this demo is not

It is not a production system. The data inside is fictional. Any resemblance between a demo project, contractor name, or document reference and a real construction project is coincidental. No progress claim, variation order, RFI, or method statement generated inside the demo is enforceable, payable, or contractually meaningful.

3. Your demo workspace

When you sign up, we create a private workspace for you. It is isolated from every other prospect's workspace — only you can see the content inside it. Each workspace automatically deletes itself 24 hours after creation. Re-signing up with the same email starts a new workspace from a clean slate.

4. AI features in the demo

Some demo features call AI models from Anthropic (Claude). These features ALWAYS act as a checker, never as a writer. AI reviews drafts, surfaces gaps, and runs reconciliation against the data you typed — it never proposes monetary amounts, never invents progress percentages, never drafts documents the user did not start writing themselves. The MD or QS keeps every consequential number under their own pen. This is a brand commitment, not a marketing line.

5. Data you put into the demo

You may experiment with any text you like in the AI Review tab, claim drafts, or other fields. Drafts you paste are sent to the Moorstack server briefly to run AI review; they are not used to train any model and they are deleted along with the rest of your tenant after 24 hours. Do not paste anything you would not be comfortable showing the Moorstack team.

6. What we collect about you

Your email address (so we can magic-link you back in if you sign out), your company name if you provide one, and basic technical info like the IP and user-agent of your signup. These are kept in an audit log so we know who signed up and when. We do not subscribe you to anything, do not sell your information, and do not send marketing without a separate, explicit opt-in from inside the product itself.

7. Abuse, throw-away accounts, and reverse engineering

The demo is provided to help SMEs evaluate the platform. Auto- mated signups, scraping, attempts to extract proprietary prompts or model behaviour, or signing up with disposable / forwarding addresses are all out of bounds. If we detect abuse, we may shorten your TTL, block your IP, or refuse re-signup. None of this is personal — we want the demo to remain free and useful.

8. No warranty, no liability

The demo is provided as-is. Moorstack makes no warranty about accuracy, availability, or fitness for any purpose. We accept no liability for any decision a prospect makes on the strength of anything they see in the demo. The platform's pilot version (the real product) carries the warranties spelled out in the pilot service agreement, which is a separate document.

9. Questions, complaints, takedowns

Email hello@moorstack.com. We respond within one business day for serious questions and within a week for everything else. If you believe content in the demo infringes a third party's rights or quotes you out of context, tell us — we'll take it down promptly.

Moorstack is operated by its founding partners in Kuala Lumpur and the United Kingdom. These terms can change — material updates will be reflected on this page and dated in the header above.
